In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of our investment funds, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting our high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients with top-tier financial services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for various investment funds and portfolios.
- Prepare accurate net asset value (NAV) calculations, financial statements, and periodic reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, investment transactions, and general ledger accounts efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, accounting principles, and internal policies.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and custodians to facilitate seamless audits.
- Monitor cash flows, portfolio valuations, and fee computations accurately.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and support management in strategic decision-making processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA (in view or completed) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience in fund accounting, financial analysis, or auditing within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and investment banking operations.
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
- High level of accuracy, strong analytical mindset, and excellent attention to detail.
