About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fuel Loading and Logistics Officer to join our operations in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating seamless supply chain processes and ensuring the efficient movement of AGO and fuel products while maintaining strict adherence to safety and operational excellence standards.
Key Responsibilities- Track fuel movement and maintain accurate inventory stock levels across all storage facilities.
- Reconcile received versus dispatched fuel volumes to prevent shortages, discrepancies, and losses.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, refinery regulations, and industry best practices.
- Monitor tank levels, metering accuracy, and loading safety protocols during daily operations.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports detailing fuel movement and inventory status.
- Identify operational bottlenecks in refinery logistics and recommend actionable process improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with finance teams, refinery staff, transporters, and corporate clients to streamline operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND from a reputable institution in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience within the oil and gas or logistics sector.
- Proven expertise in loading operations coordination, inventory control, and documentation management.
- Strong knowledge of HSE compliance, safety management, and refinery protocols.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to optimize logistics turnaround times.
