About the Role

Helen Keller International is dedicated to saving sight and lives by combating the causes and consequences of blindness and malnutrition through evidence-based programs. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Officer, Logistics and Procurement to provide day-to-day logistics, administrative, procurement, and asset management support to ensure the smooth functioning of our field operations in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate routine logistics arrangements, hotel reservations, and venue bookings for state-level activities, meetings, and workshops.
  • Manage vehicle logbooks, monitor routine vehicle maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards.
  • Process state-level procurement requests, obtain vendor quotations, and assist with preparing Purchase Orders and Requests for Quotations.
  • Maintain accurate records of office assets in Asset Panda, ensuring proper tagging, tracking, and physical verification.
  • Support new employee office setups and follow up on routine office maintenance and facility needs.
  • Prepare accurate inventory, logistics, and procurement reports while strictly adhering to organizational and donor policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in logistics, procurement, supply chain, or operational administration.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, with excellent numerical accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain precise records, inventory trackers, and procurement documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
