About the Role
Cavista is looking for a talented Frontend Engineer II to help build and scale secure, reliable, and intuitive digital financial products. In this role, you will partner with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences while driving frontend architecture and engineering best practices. You will support key initiatives, contribute to critical technical decisions, and ensure our applications meet the rigorous performance, scalability, and security standards required in the fast-paced fintech industry.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance frontend applications supporting digital banking, payments, and lending services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and compliance officers to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Develop reusable, maintainable frontend components using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Integrate frontend systems securely with APIs, payment gateways, and third-party financial platforms while ensuring compliance with regulations like the NDPA 2023 and PCI-DSS.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability across multiple devices and browsers, while conducting thorough code reviews.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of frontend development experience, with a strong background in fintech or highly regulated environments preferred.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Deep understanding of secure application development, payment gateway integration, and financial systems.
- Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies and regulatory frameworks like NDPA and PCI-DSS.
