About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building an innovative financial ecosystem for businesses. We are looking for an experienced Lead, Channels and Audit Analytics to support our Chief Audit Officer in providing robust assurance over our digital channels, payments ecosystem, and technology-driven processes through advanced data analytics and risk-based auditing.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end risk-based audits across digital banking channels, payment products, and technology-enabled business processes.
- Design and execute continuous auditing routines and data-driven analytics using SQL, Python, Power BI, and other modern analytical tools to identify emerging risks and control failures.
- Perform enterprise risk assessments and monitor risk performance metrics across diverse product portfolios and customer journeys.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance teams to evaluate system changes, API controls, and cybersecurity measures.
- Review audit workpapers, draft impactful audit reports, and monitor management action plans for timely remediation.
- Mentor and coach junior audit associates, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the internal audit team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in internal audit, data analytics, technology audit, or risk management within the fintech or financial services sector.
- Must hold at least one recognized professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE.
- Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, Metabase, or similar data interrogation tools.
