About the Role

At the core of our ecosystem is our flagship SaaS-based electronic medical records and hospital management information system (EMR/HMIS). We are currently seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team in Nigeria, where you will play a crucial role in building complex, scalable, and user-centric applications that drive digital transformation in African healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to conceptualize, design, and launch innovative features that radically improve the user experience.
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code for web and mobile application components, including comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Ensure seamless performance, responsiveness, and cross-platform compatibility of all front-end applications across targeted browsers and devices.
- Partner with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and continuously optimize our application delivery pipeline for maximum speed and reliability.
- Engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing strong communication skills to drive projects toward successful outcomes.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience, specifically focused on modern frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js, along with a solid understanding of object-oriented and procedural programming principles.
- Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 APIs, and advanced styling solutions including Styled Components, CSS Modules, Sass, Less, or PostCSS.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex application state using tools like Redux, Vuex, or equivalent state management libraries.
- Familiarity with modern front-end workflows, including Git flow, CI/CD pipelines, build tools, command-line interfaces, and E2E testing frameworks.
