About the Role
Vetta Eye Clinic is a prominent eye care provider located in Abuja, Nigeria, operating across three distinct locations to offer comprehensive services ranging from full eye examinations to advanced diagnostics. We are currently seeking a polished, empathetic, and organized Front Desk Officer to serve as the welcoming face of our clinic. In this vital role, you will ensure seamless daily operations at our reception, delivering warm customer service and maintaining efficient administrative workflows that uphold our high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the reception desk.
- Handle all incoming phone calls, inquiries, and emails promptly, routing them to the appropriate medical staff or departments.
- Manage patient appointment scheduling, registration, and medical records update with high accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process billing, handle cash and digital payments, and issue receipts in accordance with clinic financial policies.
- Maintain a neat, organized, and professional reception area equipped with necessary patient information materials.
- Coordinate with optometrists and lab technicians to manage patient flow and reduce wait times efficiently.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Front Desk Officer, Receptionist, or Customer Service Representative, preferably within a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with clinic management software or digital scheduling tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
