Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive French language lessons for nursery, primary, and secondary school students.
- Develop comprehensive schemes of work and lesson plans in alignment with national and international educational curricula.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and culturally enriching classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Prepare students adequately for internal assessments as well as external national examinations including WAEC, NECO, and BECE.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, cultural events, and professional development workshops.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to improve language department outcomes and student engagement.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in French, or equivalent relevant academic qualifications.
- Proven teaching experience in a reputable primary or secondary educational institution.
- Fluency in spoken and written French with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian educational standards and preparation techniques for WAEC and NECO.
- Ability to utilize modern digital teaching tools and interactive pedagogical strategies in the classroom.
