About the Role
Yomfield Nursery and Primary School, established in September 1996 and located in Tejumola Estate, Obantoko, Abeokuta, is currently looking for an enthusiastic French Teacher. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional educational services through our daycare, nursery, and primary sections, ensuring every child receives a strong early-years foundation.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging French lessons to nursery and primary students using age-appropriate and interactive teaching methods.
- Attend all assigned classes punctually and maintain a well-managed learning environment.
- Design, administer, and grade class tests, periodic assessments, homework, and practical projects.
- Maintain accurate continuous assessment records for all students to track academic progress.
- Participate actively in afternoon coaching sessions and school-sponsored extracurricular activities as scheduled.
- Possess a minimum of a B.Sc., B.A., or B.A.Ed. in French or related fields from a reputable institution.
- Must have at least 1 year of cognate teaching experience handling French as a specialized subject.
- Solid understanding of the Nigerian primary school educational curriculum and child development stages.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
