Key Responsibilities- Load and unload materials and merchandise, safely stacking them in designated warehouse and storage areas.
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for seamless storage, transport, or shipment.
- Transport raw materials promptly to various production workstations to maintain optimal workflow.
- Inspect machinery daily, perform routine checks, and guarantee safety by identifying the need for repairs.
- Ensure forklift machinery operations remain within correct parameters and adhere to company policies and legal guidelines.
- Maintain good Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) in the workplace.
- Promptly report any mechanical defects to the engineering team and communicate food safety concerns to the Food Safety team.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, B.Sc., or B.Tech degree from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification or License.
- Proven working experience as a Forklift Operator with a minimum of 3 years in a similar manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment with knowledge of FSMS and ISO standards is a distinct advantage.
- Strong understanding of production schedules, documentation requirements, and reporting protocols.
