About the Role
JIJEDAPT Human Resources Consult Limited is looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Manager – Logistics & Distribution Services to lead the strategic growth and operational performance of our logistics business unit. In this role, you will act as a key driver of expansion, operating the unit as an independent profit centre while supporting our wider group operations with top-tier fulfillment and supply chain solutions across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand market share and acquire corporate logistics contracts.
- Oversee end-to-end fleet operations, route planning, last-mile delivery, and integrated support for group services.
- Manage business unit profitability, budgets, asset performance, fuel consumption, and cost-control initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate logistics personnel to foster a high-performance, safety-first work culture.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian transport regulations, HSE standards, and company governance policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior logistics management role.
- Strong expertise in fleet management, commercial business development, and financial P&L oversight.
- Relevant professional certifications and postgraduate degrees (such as an MBA) will be an added advantage.
