About the Role

Myrtle Management Consultants is partnering with leading organizations to deliver operational excellence in logistics and warehousing. We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering passion, pace, and performance on the shop floor. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring seamless material handling, inventory movement, and adherence to top-tier safety standards within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently within designated warehouse and industrial work areas.
  • Load, unload, transport, move, and stack heavy materials and equipment according to operational guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough daily pre-use and post-use inspections of forklifts and report any defects immediately.
  • Ensure all loads are properly balanced, secured, and stabilized prior to any movement or elevation.
  • Follow designated traffic routes, pedestrian walkways, and facility speed limits at all times.
  • Assist with receiving, dispatching, inventory sorting, and strategic positioning of goods.
  • Maintain accurate forklift operating logs and daily inspection records.
  • Participate actively in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards around storage bays, loading bays, and staging areas.
  • Comply strictly with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of SSCE or OND in a relevant discipline.
  • Must possess a valid Forklift Operator certification or license.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating forklifts in a busy warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment.
  • Previous experience handling heavy or specialized industrial materials is an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of safe lifting techniques, load management, and material-handling procedures.
  • Valid offshore safety certifications and verified medical fitness where applicable.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, strong situational awareness, and commitment to workplace safety.
