About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily logistics operations by ensuring the efficient movement, loading, and stacking of heavy warehouse materials.
Key Responsibilities- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, lifting, moving, and stacking warehouse materials.
- Handle marble, granite, tiles, slabs, and other heavy materials with utmost care to prevent breakage.
- Transport materials securely within the warehouse and designated storage areas.
- Ensure materials are properly positioned and secured to prevent workplace accidents or product damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness around the forklift operating and storage zones.
- Handle all company equipment, materials, and property responsibly and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Previous professional experience working as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Proven ability to safely manoeuvre machinery and handle heavy materials.
- Prior experience handling marble, granite, tiles, slabs, or similar heavy construction products is a strong added advantage.
- Good understanding of general warehouse operations, logistics, and workplace safety procedures.
- Valid forklift licence or relevant professional certification is highly preferred.
