About the Role
Dogan's Sugar Limited, a leading European-invested FMCG manufacturing company in Lagos producing high-quality sugar products under strict FSSC 22000 standards, is currently looking for a professional and dedicated Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily operations by providing safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services for our Managing Director, staff, and company goods.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport the MD, staff, passengers, and company products to specified destinations in a timely manner.
- Map out efficient driving routes ahead of time while monitoring traffic and weather reports to avoid delays.
- Ensure the company vehicle is clean, comfortable, and regularly serviced according to maintenance schedules.
- Handle fuel purchases, obtain receipts, and park only in designated, permitted areas.
- Assist with loading and offloading of luggage and materials as required.
- Report all vehicle issues, maintenance needs, and road incidents promptly to management.
- Strictly adhere to Nigerian traffic laws, company safety policies, and accident procedures at all times.
- Proven professional experience working as a corporate or personal driver in Lagos.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Deep familiarity with Lagos road networks, neighborhoods, and the use of GPS navigation devices.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in stressful driving situations and heavy traffic.
- Must reside within Ikoyi or its immediate environs for prompt availability.
