About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Awoyaya, Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations by ensuring the smooth, efficient, and secure movement of heavy construction materials. Key Responsibilities- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, lifting, moving, and stacking warehouse materials.
- Handle marble, granite, tiles, slabs, and other heavy materials with utmost care to prevent breakage.
- Transport materials securely within the warehouse and designated storage areas.
- Ensure all materials are properly positioned and secured to prevent workplace accidents or product damage.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards around the forklift operating and storage zones.
- Handle company equipment, materials, and property responsibly and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Previous professional experience as a Forklift Operator is strictly required.
- Proven ability to safely maneuver and move heavy, bulky materials in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience handling marble, granite, tiles, slabs, or similar heavy construction products is a strong added advantage.
- Good understanding of standard warehouse operations and occupational health and safety procedures.
- Valid forklift license or relevant professional certification is highly preferred.
