The M & W Nuts Company, an innovative cashew processing agri-business established in 2016, is seeking a dedicated Food Technologist to join our growing team in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and company quality standards across all operations.
- Oversee daily in-process production activities to ensure all processing stages are executed according to approved procedures.
- Accurately measure and mix condiments and ingredients for various cashew product variants, guaranteeing consistency in taste and quality.
- Monitor production and packaging operations closely to drive efficiency, maintain high product quality, and minimize waste.
- Adhere to approved Production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recommend updates to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Conduct rigorous quality checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, and final packaged products.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate production records, batch documentation, formulation logs, and quality reports.
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor production personnel on essential food safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience in food manufacturing, food processing, or quality assurance.
- Solid working knowledge of modern food safety management systems, including GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical abilities, and robust documentation skills.
