Odixcity Consulting, Nigeria's leading foreign outsourcing firm specializing in human resources and procurement, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food & Nutrition Teacher to join our educational network. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping students' understanding of healthy living, culinary arts, and scientific nutritional principles, equipping them with essential life skills for the future.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons in Food and Nutrition to students.
- Organize and supervise hands-on cooking and catering sessions in the kitchen.
- Educate students on critical topics including healthy eating habits, food safety, and kitchen hygiene.
- Prepare students comprehensively for both practical and written school examinations.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food supplies.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards during all practical cooking sessions.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Food Science, Nutrition, Home Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in Food and Nutrition or Home Economics.
- Prior practical experience in professional catering or food preparation is a distinct advantage.
- Strong organizational, classroom management, and supervisory skills.
