About the Role
Prestigious Consulting Group, a leading global staffing agency located in Lagos, is seeking an experienced Food Manufacturing Project Manager to drive innovative food manufacturing and product development initiatives for our diverse clientele. In this dynamic role, you will steer high-impact projects from initial product concept through successful commercialization. You will ensure strict regulatory compliance, manufacturing readiness, and uncompromised quality standards while delivering projects on time and within budget to support our clients' continuous business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end food manufacturing and product development projects from initial concept to the commercial market.
- Manage comprehensive project timelines, budgets, key deliverables, and client expectations.
- Coordinate product formulation, pilot production phases, scale-up activities, and full-scale commercialization.
- Ensure total compliance with NAFDAC regulations, GMP, HACCP, and all relevant food safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and enhance overall product quality.
- Support strategic proposal development, accurate project scoping, and ongoing client engagement.
- Prepare detailed project reports and deliver regular performance updates to executive management.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of demonstrable professional experience in food manufacturing, product development, or food processing.
- Proven track record of successfully managing food products from concept to commercial production.
- Strong, practical knowledge of NAFDAC registration processes, GMP, HACCP, and modern food manufacturing workflows.
- Prior hands-on experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or food processing facility is highly preferred.
- Exceptional project management, verbal and written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
