About the Role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is a leading human resource solutions provider committed to driving organizational growth across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, FMCG, and fintech. We are currently seeking a meticulous and results-driven Quality Control/Assurance Officer to join our dynamic team and uphold our rigorous production standards.
In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing our manufacturing lifecycle. You will inspect raw materials, monitor production lines, and ensure that all finished polythene and polymer products consistently meet our high benchmarks for quality, safety, and durability.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily production processes to ensure strict compliance with established quality specifications.
- Investigate quality anomalies and collaborate with production teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure rejected or defective products are properly identified, segregated, and controlled.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date quality inspection records and prepare comprehensive quality reports.
- Support the continuous implementation and monitoring of quality control procedures across the plant.
- Ensure all production activities comply with company standards and relevant industry regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of production equipment and operational workflows from a quality perspective.
- Participate actively in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant QC/QA experience within polythene, polymer, nylon, plastic, packaging, or similar manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated practical experience working specifically with polythene and polymer products.
- Solid understanding of quality control methodologies, laboratory procedures, and industrial manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
