About the Role
Enugu Air is a rapidly expanding, state-owned airline established by the Enugu State Government under the visionary leadership of Governor Peter Mbah. As a key economic catalyst, our mission is to transform Enugu into a premier regional logistics hub and a global investment destination. We are currently seeking detail-oriented, qualified Flight Dispatchers to support the safe, efficient, and timely operations of our expanding fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review operational flight plans in strict accordance with approved company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor weather conditions, NOTAMs, airfield updates, and other critical operational data to ensure flight safety.
- Coordinate all flight dispatch activities seamlessly with flight crews, Air Traffic Services, and Ground Operations.
- Provide comprehensive pre-flight briefings covering meteorological data, route constraints, and operational updates.
- Monitor active flight progress and maintain continuous operational communication with airborne flight crews.
- Manage irregular operations effectively, including flight delays, diversions, and cancellations.
- Ensure full compliance with the Enugu Air Operations Manual and all applicable Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) regulations.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, Geography, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Possession of a valid and current Flight Dispatcher Licence issued or recognized by the NCAA.
- Demonstrated experience in flight dispatch, airline operations, or working within an Operations Control Centre (OCC).
- Strong working knowledge of aircraft performance, meteorology, flight planning, and global navigation.
- Mandatory evidence of completion or valid exemption from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
