About the Role

We are currently seeking a technically proficient and results-driven Fleet / Truck Maintenance Supervisor to join our reputable team based on the Lagos Mainland. In this critical role, you will oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of our heavy-duty truck fleet to ensure maximum operational efficiency, safety, and reliability across all routes.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate a team of mechanics, technicians, and workshop support staff to ensure high-quality repair work.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all heavy-duty trucks.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, transmission, and braking system faults using modern diagnostic tools.
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, spare-parts inventory, and overall operational costs.
- Ensure all company vehicles strictly comply with Nigerian vehicle safety standards, environmental regulations, and roadworthiness requirements.
- Minimize vehicle downtime and turnaround times through proactive fleet management and efficient workflow coordination.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and vendor performance reports.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in fleet or truck maintenance supervision, preferably within a haulage or logistics company in Nigeria.
- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, truck electrical systems, heavy-duty transmissions, suspensions, and braking systems.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a technical team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a strong focus on cost reduction.
- Proficiency in spare-parts inventory management and maintenance software applications.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is an added advantage.
