About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fleet Operations Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in monitoring and coordinating vehicle movements, driver activities, and overall fleet operations to ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor vehicle movements and locations in real-time using advanced GPS tracking systems.
- Track daily driver activities, approved routes, and trip schedules to ensure punctuality.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicles, trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules, routine servicing, and necessary mechanical repairs.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly fleet performance reports for management review.
- Identify and report route deviations, transit delays, or unauthorized vehicle use promptly.
- Liaise effectively with drivers, management, and external maintenance teams to resolve logistics issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with company vehicle usage guidelines and occupational safety policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and fleet management software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
