About the Role

Max.ng is transforming Africa's last-mile delivery and logistics landscape by connecting consumers, retail businesses, and independent drivers in real time. We are currently looking for a dynamic Fleet Operations Lead to manage vehicle setup, maintenance, refurbishment, and security across our jurisdiction in Nigeria, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of all vehicles within the city jurisdiction using VAMS, ensuring inactive vehicles do not exceed 2%.
  • Coordinate the setup of newly procured vehicles within defined budgets and documentation processes.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, liaising with authorized service workshops and OEMs for warranty and insurance claims.
  • Manage the swift refurbishment and re-certification of deactivated or churned vehicles in compliance with company SOPs.
  • Ensure all vehicles are actively tracked on the IoT platform and escalate security issues promptly.
  • Manage local administrative functions, including team leadership, budgeting, petty cash accountability, and inventory control for spare parts.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of HND in any Engineering or Business-related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of cognate experience in a fleet management or fleet officer role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, fleet management systems, and local transport regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities with keen attention to detail.
