About the Role

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our operational fleet remains safe, fully roadworthy, and optimally utilized to support our business objectives across Nigeria. Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the daily activities and movement of company vehicles and drivers.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and available for operations.
  • Schedule and follow up on preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Monitor vehicle faults and ensure repairs are promptly addressed.
  • Track fuel consumption and investigate unusual or excessive usage.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicles, maintenance, repairs, fuel, mileage, and related expenses.
  • Monitor drivers' compliance with company policies, speed limits, safety procedures, and operational instructions.
  • Track vehicle trips, breakdowns, accidents, delays, and other fleet-related incidents.
  • Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, damages, and other incidents to management promptly.
  • Maintain an updated fleet database and provide regular fleet reports to management.
  • Embark on rescue operations and vehicle recovery when required.
  • Monitor driver availability and ensure fleet performance targets are achieved.
Qualifications
  • Education: OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience in fleet management, transport operations, logistics, or a related role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations.
  • Solid understanding of Nigerian road safety and traffic regulations.
  • Strong record-keeping, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to operational issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic office productivity tools.
