Key Responsibilities- Monitor the daily activities and movement of company vehicles and drivers.
- Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and available for operations.
- Schedule and follow up on preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Monitor vehicle faults and ensure repairs are promptly addressed.
- Track fuel consumption and investigate unusual or excessive usage.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicles, maintenance, repairs, fuel, mileage, and related expenses.
- Monitor drivers' compliance with company policies, speed limits, safety procedures, and operational instructions.
- Track vehicle trips, breakdowns, accidents, delays, and other fleet-related incidents.
- Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, damages, and other incidents to management promptly.
- Maintain an updated fleet database and provide regular fleet reports to management.
- Embark on rescue operations and vehicle recovery when required.
- Monitor driver availability and ensure fleet performance targets are achieved.
- Education: OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in fleet management, transport operations, logistics, or a related role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian road safety and traffic regulations.
- Strong record-keeping, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to operational issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic office productivity tools.
- Competitive gross monthly salary of N200,000 to N250,000.
