About the Role

We operate from our Abuja headquarters, delivering comprehensive solutions including guard services, loan recovery, patrol systems, and vehicle tracking throughout the sub-region. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Officer to oversee our vehicle operations and ensure optimal fleet performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day fleet operations and coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules
  • Monitor vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, licensing, and insurance renewals
  • Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance costs
  • Supervise fleet drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and road safety regulations
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and breakdowns, implementing corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate fleet records including maintenance history, registration, and fuel logs
  • Negotiate with vendors for cost-effective maintenance and repair services
  • Monitor fleet performance using GPS tracking and fleet management systems
  • Prepare periodic reports on fleet performance and operational costs
  • Recommend strategies for improving fleet efficiency and reducing expenses
  • Ensure all vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and professionally maintained

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Transport Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in fleet management or transportation operations
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transport regulations
  • Experience supervising drivers and managing fleet documentation
  • Understanding of vehicle diagnostics and preventive maintenance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Valid driver's license with good driving experience (advantageous)
