About the Role
Cool TV & Wazobia TV is looking for a strategic and results-driven Fleet Manager to oversee the day-to-day and long-term management of our vehicle fleet across all group subsidiaries in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will guarantee maximum vehicle availability, rigorous cost control, strict regulatory compliance, and the seamless transportation of staff, guests, equipment, and goods to support our fast-paced media and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the group fleet to ensure maximum vehicle availability and operational efficiency across all business units.
- Oversee vehicle scheduling and deployment for broadcast operations, engineering site visits, logistics, and corporate events.
- Monitor routine maintenance, preventive servicing, repairs, and strict adherence to road safety and environmental regulations.
- Implement cost-control measures for fuel consumption, tracking systems, spare parts, and third-party vendor contracts.
- Supervise, train, and manage drivers, fostering high standards of professionalism, safety, and accountability.
- Track key fleet performance indicators and generate comprehensive reports to minimize downtime and optimize expenditures.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in fleet or transport management, preferably within a multi-industry environment.
- Strong proficiency in vehicle tracking software, fuel management systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor negotiation, budgeting, accident investigation, and transport regulatory compliance.
