In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of fleet efficiency, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the safety of millions of passengers and cargo shipments annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise all fleet maintenance activities, including comprehensive inspections, accurate diagnostics, complex repairs, and routine preventive servicing.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a structured preventive maintenance schedule for all commercial vehicles.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory levels closely and coordinate timely procurement with the supply chain team.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of all vehicle maintenance activities, parts usage, and operational costs.
  • Provide hands-on leadership, mentorship, and training to technicians and junior maintenance staff.
  • Collaborate effectively with fleet operations teams to minimize vehicle downtime and service disruptions.
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian road safety standards and relevant transportation regulations.
Qualifications
  • Possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven, hands-on experience in fleet maintenance, ideally within the transport or logistics sector.
  • Demonstrated strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills across a diverse range of commercial vehicles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities to manage a technical team.
  • In-depth working knowledge of Nigerian road safety standards and transport regulations.
