About the Role
Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited (NNEC) is a leading provider of engineering, project support, and technical manpower services to the global oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Fixed Equipment Strategy Specialist II to join our team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will coordinate and facilitate comprehensive fixed equipment strategy development for the site while delivering expert materials engineering support for both routine operations and major turnaround activities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the facility-wide maintenance function to ensure the availability of safe, responsive, and high-quality repair and maintenance services.
- Oversee preventive, routine, non-routine, and emergency maintenance capabilities across all designated oil and gas facilities.
- Provide necessary professional development, motivation, coordination, and internal cooperation for groups and individuals under your control to maximize operational efficiency.
- Deliver specialized materials engineering support for routine plant operations and critical turnaround activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong working knowledge of discipline design standards, technical specifications, applicable codes, and safety criteria within the oil and gas sector.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt seamlessly to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in operational priorities.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with exceptional technical and business communication skills.
