About the Role
Royal SFI Farms, a leading agricultural enterprise specializing in innovative fish farming and commercial food processing, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fish Farm Supervisor. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all daily farm operations, manage production teams, and ensure consistent achievement of fish production targets while maintaining the highest standards of fish health and farm management.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily fish farm operations and farm worker activities
- Monitor fish growth, weight, survival rates, and overall health condition
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate production records including growth, feeding, mortality, stocking, and grading data
- Ensure proper feeding protocols with correct quantity, timing, and feed sizing
- Oversee fish grading, sorting, counting, stocking, and transfer activities
- Monitor water quality and report any unusual changes or potential risks
- Identify and promptly report signs of stress, disease, poor growth, or behavioral abnormalities
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of ponds, tanks, equipment, and farm facilities
- Collaborate with management to achieve weekly and monthly production targets
- Minimize feed wastage and optimize resource utilization
- Report challenges, equipment issues, and observations to management
- Proven experience in fish farming or aquaculture operations
- Experience supervising and managing farm workers
- Strong knowledge of catfish production, feeding protocols, grading, and fish handling
- Excellent record-keeping and data management abilities
- Observant, responsible, disciplined, and physically fit
- Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively
- Willingness to actively participate in farm activities
