About the Role
Jamub Group is a leading Nigerian conglomerate delivering innovative solutions across B2B, B2G, and B2C sectors. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finishing Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all architectural finishes meet the highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and technical precision from design to final handover.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and interpret finishing drawings, technical details, material schedules, and specifications.
- Coordinate all finishing works seamlessly with structural, MEP, civil, and architectural requirements.
- Inspect and monitor site execution for flooring, tiling, ceilings, painting, joinery, doors, and windows to ensure superior workmanship.
- Identify design clashes, constructability issues, and non-conforming works early to implement prompt corrections.
- Review material samples, mock-ups, and delivered supplies against approved specifications to minimize wastage.
- Manage defect identification, snag lists, and rectification processes to guarantee smooth project handover.
- Maintain comprehensive finishing records, progress reports, and documentation to support timely project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in architectural finishing and site supervision within the Nigerian construction industry.
- Proficiency in architectural design software and technical detailing.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, quality control standards, and MEP coordination.
- Excellent communication, contractor management, and problem-solving skills.
