About the Role
Graceland International School, a prestigious private co-educational institution located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, is seeking a creative and dedicated Fine Arts Teacher to inspire our students. In this role, you will foster a vibrant creative environment where students can explore their artistic potential and develop critical thinking skills through visual arts.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive fine arts lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Encourage students to express their creativity through drawing, painting, sculpture, and other art mediums.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring art studio environment for all students.
- Organize school art exhibitions and participate in extracurricular cultural activities.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-NYSC teaching experience in Fine Arts.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and modern educational technology.
- Possess a strong moral background, integrity, and a God-fearing disposition.
- Willingness to relocate to Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially when engaging with students.
