Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian and international curricula.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and organizing remedial sessions for struggling learners.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Conduct practical laboratory experiments safely and effectively, demonstrating chemical principles to students.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, professional development workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records and prepare periodic reports for school management and parents.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related science discipline.
- Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or equivalent teaching certification is compulsory.
- Proven previous experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary school level.
