About the Role
Word of Faith Group of Schools, the flagship of Christian Education in Africa, is seeking a talented and passionate Creative and Cultural Art Teacher to join our dynamic academic community. In this role, you will help students discover and maximize their creative potential through engaging instruction, fostering an appreciation for arts, culture, and heritage within a supportive Christian environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, comprehensive Creative and Cultural Art lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Encourage student creativity and self-expression through various art mediums, cultural studies, and practical projects.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous academic and personal improvement.
- Create a vibrant, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to learning and artistic exploration.
- Participate in school cultural events, art exhibitions, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cultural values and cross-curricular themes into school programs.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Fine/Applied Arts, Education, or a related field (PGDE is required if the degree is in a non-education discipline).
- Proven experience teaching Creative and Cultural Art in a reputable school setting.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian educational curricula and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
