Anthony White Bridge Academy, a leading co-educational private Nursery, Primary, and Secondary school in Mowe, Ogun State, is seeking a passionate and skilled Fine Art Teacher to join its team of dedicated educators. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering artistic expression, critical thinking, and visual literacy among students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Fine Art lessons in line with the approved curriculum
- Teach various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and design
- Assess and evaluate students' artistic progress and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes
- Organize art exhibitions, competitions, and creative projects to showcase students' talents
- Maintain a safe, well-organized, and inspiring art studio or classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate art into broader school activities
- Guide students in developing their creative portfolios and artistic skills
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of art materials, tools, and equipment
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher engagements as required
- B.Ed, B.Sc, PGDE, or M.Sc in Fine Art, Art Education, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in reputable, top-flight schools
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification is compulsory
- Strong knowledge of art curriculum development and instructional methods
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Creative, patient, and passionate about mentoring young artists
- Proficiency in various art media and techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a structured academic environment
