About the Role
Beyond Credit is a technology-driven financial services company dedicated to empowering low-scale businesses in Africa through insurance-backed loans, business support, and savings services. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Finance Analyst to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in financial reporting, budgeting, and business analysis, ensuring our operations continue to scale sustainably while delivering exceptional value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate financial reports, variance analyses, and monthly management accounts.
- Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to support strategic business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance using standard accounting software.
- Collaborate with internal teams to conduct financial audits and streamline internal control processes.
- Generate insightful dashboards and presentations using advanced Excel and PowerPoint for executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in microfinance, banking, fintech/lending, audit, or management consulting.
- Partly qualified ICAN or ACCA (at least Skills Level).
- Working knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and IFRS frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, or Sage.
