We are currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, compliance, and cash flow management. Key Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and monthly management accounts.
- Lead month-end and year-end financial closing processes while monitoring cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
- Prepare and review budgets, cash forecasts, and investment analysis reports to support strategic management decisions.
- Ensure accurate bank, account, and balance sheet reconciliations alongside payroll processing.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax, statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities while strengthening internal controls and financial policies.
- Supervise, support, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification is strictly required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant finance experience, with a strong background in financial control or senior accounting roles.
- Demonstrable expertise in cash flow management, budgeting, financial reporting, and taxation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting or ERP software.
- Prior experience within a healthcare or multi-entity organization will be a distinct advantage.
