About the Role
Castville Solutions is looking for a dedicated and analytical Accountant to oversee our financial operations and support our business growth. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial integrity, optimizing production and inventory costs, and ensuring seamless day-to-day accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, income, and cash flow.
- Track furniture production costs including raw materials, labor, and logistics.
- Monitor inventory and reconcile stock records with financial accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, supplier payments, and customer balances.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
- Process payroll and maintain precise employee compensation records.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts regularly.
- Assist with product pricing and costing strategies to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws and statutory requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Active professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA) is a strong advantage.
- 2 to 4 years of proven accounting experience within manufacturing, furniture, or retail industries.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and product costing.
