About the Role
Neveah Limited is a leading commodities trading company specializing in the export of solid minerals and agricultural products. Established in 2014 with its head office in Abuja, Nigeria, we source the finest materials from local markets to meet international customer demands. We are currently looking for a dynamic Financial Controller to join our growing team and lead our finance and accounts unit.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure quality control over financial transactions, reporting, and accounting practices.
- Work closely with the CFO to develop and execute organizational financial strategies.
- Manage accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and cost accounting.
- Prepare timely monthly management accounts, financial statements, and regulatory reports.
- Monitor tax compliance and manage relationships with external stakeholders, investors, and auditors.
- Coordinate budgeting and financial forecasting while monitoring variances.
- Develop business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or commodities sector.
- Proven expertise in commercial finance, financial planning, and analysis.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
- Mastery of accounting principles, technical accounting issues, and regulatory standards.
