About the Role
Agusto & Co., the foremost Pan-African Credit Rating Agency and leading industry research provider, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Financial Analyst to join our expanding team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will perform comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis on financial and non-financial institutions while tracking macroeconomic trends across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Rwanda.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate credit rating reports on assigned financial and corporate institutions.
- Act as a dedicated industry specialist, producing high-quality research reports and tracking sector developments.
- Conduct bespoke, client-specific research and support tailored consulting engagements.
- Facilitate professional training sessions on financial management and related courses.
- Authored periodic insightful articles for publication on the Agusto Market Intelligence portal.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory relevant professional qualifications including ACA, ACCA, or CFA.
- Possession of an MBA, MSc, or advanced financial modelling skills will be a strong added advantage.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a credit or financial analyst within a reputable financial services institution.
- Comprehensive understanding of African macroeconomics paired with exceptional business writing and communication skills.
