About the Role
Muksfar Lilies and Oasis College is a reputable Islamic co-educational institution located in Ibadan, Oyo State, dedicated to blending high Western academic standards with comprehensive Arabic and Islamic studies. We are currently seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Financial Accounting Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the financial literacy and academic success of our secondary school students within a nurturing, faith-based learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Financial Accounting lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Prepare secondary school pupils and students effectively for major external examinations including WAEC, NECO, GCE, and JAMB.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to improve academic performance.
- Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and academically stimulating classroom environment that aligns with the institution's core values.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, professional development programs, and extra-curricular duties as required by management.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Education (B.Edu), or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of verifiable teaching experience in Financial Accounting at the secondary school level.
- Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) will be a distinct advantage.
- Proven track record of successfully preparing students for external examinations with excellent pass rates.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills, with a good understanding of Islamic educational values.
