We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Financial Accounting Teacher to join our esteemed faculty and deliver an engaging, rigorous curriculum that prepares students for academic and professional excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs our Financial Accounting Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in developing students' analytical and financial skills. Your daily duties will include:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Financial Accounting lessons in line with national and international curricula.
- Utilize modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and regular reports to parents and school management.
- Prepare students effectively for internal examinations as well as external assessments, including IGCSE examinations where applicable.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and conducive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and ethical financial practices.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development programs, and extracurricular activities.
To be considered for this exciting teaching opportunity at The Lamb Academy, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Education (B.Ed) or a relevant discipline from a reputable university.
- A Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a Master's Degree will be a distinct added advantage.
- Must be a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant post-qualification teaching experience within a reputable or international school setting.
- Proficiency in utilizing ICT tools and digital platforms to drive interactive teaching and learning.
- Demonstrated knowledge and teaching experience of the IGCSE curriculum will be highly advantageous.
- Possession of excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
