In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping student success by providing exceptional counseling services, fostering positive behavior, and guiding learners through critical academic and career decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide confidential individual and group counseling sessions addressing academic, personal, social, and behavioral concerns.
- Conduct comprehensive career guidance to help students make informed choices regarding further education and career pathways.
- Identify students requiring specialized support and facilitate appropriate referrals when necessary.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential records of all counseling sessions and student progress.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to holistically support student wellbeing and development.
- Organize workshops, programs, and activities promoting life skills, positive behavior, and effective study habits.
- Bachelor's degree in Guidance and Counselling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications in counseling will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a school counselor or in a similar student-support role.
- Strong understanding of adolescent development, mental health, and modern educational counseling frameworks.
