About the Role
Nady Academy, a reputable private co-educational school located in the Gwiwa Lowcost Estate area of Sokoto, Nigeria, is looking for a passionate and qualified Financial Accounting Teacher. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Financial Accounting lessons to secondary school students in line with the approved Nigerian curriculum.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and evaluation strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Assess, grade, and provide constructive feedback on student assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate academic records and monitor individual student progress to offer necessary academic support.
- Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification such as NCE, B.Ed, or a B.Sc. in Accounting or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as a Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) or Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification will be an added advantage.
- Previous teaching experience in a structured school environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication skills.
