About the Role
CIG Motor Ltd, the authorized distributor of GAC Motor in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and analytical Finance Operations Officer to join our growing team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting transaction processing, working-capital control, reporting, and audit readiness across our sales, inventory, and departmental finance activities to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the timely invoicing of vehicle sales and perform monthly reconciliation of receivables.
- Maintain the General Ledger and prepare comprehensive monthly reports covering inventory, receivables, and departmental budgets.
- Support robust working-capital management and review balance-sheet reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
- Supervise monthly inventory counts across all operational centers.
- Participate in annual statutory and tax audits, providing all required supporting documentation efficiently.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (ICAN, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent) is strictly required.
- 3 to 7 years of progressive experience in finance operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, operations management, data analysis, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, modern accounting software, and financial reporting tools.
