Tulips and Lilies Confectionery (TLC Bakery) is a leading bakery in Ibadan famous for our exceptional delivery of exquisite confectionery, ranging from cakes to treats and everything in between. We set out to exceed the expectations of our diverse clientele by taking their needs and desires into consideration. We are looking for a dedicated Finance Officer to join our dynamic team and help drive our financial health and operational success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all accounting transactions and daily financial operations efficiently.
- Prepare accurate budget forecasts and publish timely financial statements.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely bank payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare comprehensive tax returns.
- Manage balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and report on company liquidity.
- Audit financial transactions, reinforce data confidentiality, and conduct database backups.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory standards.
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree; professional certification like ICAN is a strong advantage.
- Must reside in or very close to Bodija, Ibadan.
- Demonstrated experience working as an Accountant or Finance Officer.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Strong attention to detail, high integrity, trustworthiness, and strong analytical skills.
