About the Role
Advantage Health Africa (AHA) is a dynamic healthcare technology and capacity development organization committed to improving patient outcomes and business practices across the Nigerian healthcare sector. We are currently seeking a dedicated and competent Finance Officer to strengthen our finance team, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and support our overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain an efficient and well-organized record management system for easy retrieval of accounting records and supporting documents.
- Accurately record and maintain financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, expenses, and other accounting entries in the financial system.
- Record, reconcile, and monitor daily, monthly, and annual transactions relating to customers and suppliers statements.
- Perform regular account reconciliations and promptly investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents.
- Maintain accurate ledger entries and support bank and other account reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, cash flow management, and other financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with approved financial policies, procedures, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Finance team and other business units to support the achievement of the organization's financial objectives.
- Provide relevant financial records and documentation required for internal and external audits.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- ICAN certification is strictly required.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
- Good understanding of financial reporting, account reconciliation, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
