About the Role

We are currently looking for a talented Finance Officer to join our growing finance team in Nigeria and contribute to our operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that all expense tickets are processed and paid within three working hours of receipt to aid management account preparation.
- Ensure that all withholding taxes (WHT) are correctly and promptly remitted on all operating expense tickets.
- Spool the first draft of cash General Ledgers on the first working day of every month.
- Collect and review all bank statements on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Support monthly bank reconciliation of accounts domiciled with the finance department.
- Carry out any other financial functions and ad-hoc tasks as directed by the line manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting.
- Professional accounting qualification or progress toward one, such as ICAN or ACCA, is an added advantage.
- Good working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting or ERP software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
