DAG Industries Nigeria Limited, the authorized distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Finance Officer to join our growing finance team in Lagos. Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and comprehensive accounting documentation in line with company standards.
- Prepare invoices, manage payment schedules, execute reconciliations, and generate timely financial reports.
- Monitor receivables, payables, operational expenses, and cash transactions to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Perform regular bank and general ledger reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Support budgeting, financial analysis, and month-end closing activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal company policies.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on all finance-related matters.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Possession of or progress toward professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
- 2 to 4 years of proven relevant finance or accounting experience.
- Prior experience working within FMCG, Automotive, or Manufacturing sectors will be highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
