About the Role
Pullus Africa Solutions Ltd is Africa’s first poultry-focused supply chain platform, leveraging technology to boost local poultry production and supply chain efficiency by facilitating farmers’ access to guaranteed markets, finance, quality inputs, advisory, and production services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and analytical Finance Officer to join our dynamic team in Kaduna and contribute to our mission of transforming the agricultural sector in Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and financial reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense tracking.
- Assist in automating and improving financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Prepare any other financial schedules or reports as required by management.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in all financial processes.
- Collaborate with other teams and external partners to support operational and financial activities.
- Utilize MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting, and use accounting software where applicable.
- Perform any other finance-related duties assigned by the Accountant.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of work experience as an Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk, or in a similar financial role.
- Professional qualifications or student membership with ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Working knowledge of standard accounting software.
- Must reside in Kaduna.
