About the Role
WTS Energy, a global leader in manpower supply for the oil, gas, and energy industries, is seeking a skilled Cost Controller for a major project in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee all budget and cost control activities for the IMA Project, ensuring financial integrity and adherence to strict industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain the Cost Control structure, procedures, and tools including UNISUP and U-Cost for the IMA Project.
- Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive project cost information and documentation.
- Liaise with Project Package Managers and the Finance Department on cost control and accounting matters.
- Participate in preparing and reviewing project budgets, updates, and economic support.
- Verify and approve invoices in accordance with contracts, procedures, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Assess contract variations, identify cost trends and variances, and maintain the Final Cost Estimate.
- BSc in Accounting or a Finance-related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 15 years of professional experience in project cost control within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in SAP, Sage v12, UNISUP, and U-Cost systems.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and leadership skills with an excellent command of English.
